Kanye back to his boasting ways
Hip hop superstar Kanye West is not one for modesty, so it's no surprise that he has crowned himself one of the most influential musicians.
The Gold Digger star has claimed that he and Justin Timberlake are the best artists in the music business right now.
He even compares himself and the SexyBack singer to a modern day equivalent of Prince and Michael Jackson - but doesn't say who's who.
But in a rare humble moment Kanye admits that much of his meteoric success has been down to JT being his biggest inspiration and competition.
The star even gushes that if it wasn't for Justin "killing the game" with his success, his own music would never had been so good.
But many have interpreted Kanye's glowing recommendation for the prince of pop as a thinly-veiled dig at his hip hop rival 50 Cent, who is set to release his new album on the same day Kanye launches his next month.
West scored his first UK number one single with Stronger, an electro hip-hop reworking of Daft Punk hit, Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.
