Rumours continue to swirl about the Tintin movies with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost being tipped to play the Thompson Twins.

Pegg has already said he was summoned by Steven Spielberg to the motion-capture set of the movie when the director said: "Hey, maybe you and Nick Frost could play the Thompson Twins."

The north London actor and comic book nut has admitted to loving Tintin in several interviews.

However, he won't say if he and best bud Frost will star as the two clumsy lookalike detectives who can only be told apart by the shape of their moustaches.

The films will be directed by both Spielberg and Peter Jackson and the budget rumoured to be in excess of $100 million.

Spielberg was first approached by Tintin's creator, Herge, back in the early 1980s believing that he was the only director who could do his Belgian comic hero justice.
