Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson have teamed up in adventure rom-com Fool's Gold.

The pair last starred together in 2003's How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days.

He said: "I thought it would help the fact that they've already had a pre-existing relationship once this movie started."

Fool's Gold tells the story of an estranged couple who try to rekindle their relationship while searching for sunken treasure.

Its UK release is April 18.
