Hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs has taken an innovative approach to finding a new personal assistant.

The newly-single star has produced an advert on MySpace asking wannabe candidates to send in video entries via the internet.

"It's a new age, new time and new era. Forget coming in to the office to have a meeting with me and be nervous. Upload your video on YouTube" - Sean "Diddy" Combs

The world's richest hip-hop entertainer has asked potential employees to submit a three-minute video on the reasons why they want the job.

Diddy said: "It's a new age, new time and new era. Forget coming in to the office to have a meeting with me and be nervous. Upload your video on YouTube."

Anyone expecting an easy ride with Diddy was forewarned that as a boss the rapper is prone to "scream", "go crazy", "keep you up late and have you sleep deprived."

However the star, worth an estimate $315 million (£157.5m) in 2006, said: "I'm the best and I like working with the best."
