Soul songstress Amy Winehouse is reportedly set to bag £500,000 to sing at a party held by the cream of Hollywood.

The Rehab star has apparently been asked to perform at a celebrity event in New York, organised by George Clooney and Julia Roberts.

A source reportedly told a newspaper: "Amy was taken a back when she learned that Clooney and Roberts were after her.

"She hasn't really taken it in - and keeps saying that her life is getting more surreal by the second."

The request apparently came directly from designer Giorgio Armani, who has already expressed an interest in working with the Grammy award-winning singer, the source said.

Armani hosted a similar event at Earls Court, London, last year which attracted the likes of Beyoncé, 50 Cent and Razorlight.
