Inquest: Anna Nicole's son overdosed

Actress Anna Nicole Smith's son died from a huge drugs overdose, an inquest into the 20-year-old's death has heard.

Daniel Smith had consumed so much of the painkiller methadone that it could not have been "recreational", medical expert Dr Lee Hern has said.

He suggested "intentional ingestion" but clarified there was no evidence to suggest Daniel had wanted to die.

Dr Hern found a blood methadone concentration of 0.74mg per litre. Just 0.15mg could be lethal.

Anna Nicole later died of an accidental overdose in February 2007.
