Damon honoured on Walk of Fame
Matt Damon has been immortalised with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The 36-year-old, who attended the ceremony with his wife and mother, said he always dreamed of seeing his name on the boulevard someday, but was still shocked by the honour.
He said: "I got to say a few times in my life I've had these experiences that are just kind of too big to process and this looks like it's going to be one of those times.
"It'll probably sink in when I walk down the street in the middle of the night in about six months and see someone peeing on my star."
Damon features in the upcoming thriller The Bourne Ultimatum which premiered on the same day.
In 1998, he won a screenwriting Oscar with Ben Affleck for Good Will Hunting. He has also starred in The Departed, The Good Shepherd and the Ocean's Eleven movies.
