Hollywood snubs Posh

Victoria Beckham won't be joining the cream of A-Listers on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame anytime soon - because she's not famous enough.

The Hollywood Actors' Guild has spurned the attempts of pal Tom Cruise to get her and husband David on the famous street because they're yet to make their mark in the town.

A source said: "Tom thinks the town should be honoured by his friends' decision to move there. But the Hollywood hierarchy doesn't work like that.

"They argue the Beckhams have done nothing to earn the acknowledgement in terms of Hollywood success and see the honour as one they should only award to their own.

"Sports and pop stars are found among the actors and actresses but they are usually people who've had a connection to Tinseltown. If the Beckhams do make their mark they might be luckier."

Celebrities receiving a star this year include Matt Damon, Sir Michael Caine, Michelle Pfeiffer, Mariah Carey and rapper P Diddy.
