Peruvian pop idol

Prisoners in a Peruvian jail in Lima have been taking part in a music competition called Melodies of Freedom - a Latin equivalent of Pop Idol.
The prisoners say it helps them forget that they're in jail.
But instead of a recording contract, he won a guitar and a pair of shoes
And the standard of the competitors seems to vary wildly.
The winner was a man called Augusto Flores with a moving song called Your Visit; not surprisingly, about a prison visit.
